                     EduSports -       MICRO EVENTS

In addition to the after-school programmes, we have also been working with EduSports to figure out ways to make the whole in-school programme experience more engaging. Starting September 2012, in addition to executing the curriculum on the ground, every EduSports resident will plan to conduct a number of micro-events for the children. These micro-events provide a platform for the younger children covered by the EduSports programme to compete in an environment that is safe, challenging, professional and educational. The inclusive design will ensure that it is a great opportunity for each and every child to demonstrate his/her ability while maintaining a spirit of respect and cooperation with fellow participants. These micro-events will be held in the existing EduSports periods and will be led by the EduSports resident. All the champs of the events (1 child per event) will be awarded with certificates recognizing their participation and a smiley badge.
